Philosophy

Students need a learning environment that not only meets their needs but encourages success by exceeding their expectations.  They need teachers who strive daily to help them grow in ways they never thought possible.  My job is never done until I see the “light bulb” come on indicating success has been achieved.

I love the atmosphere and friendliness of the parents, students, faculty and staff that is displayed at MDA.  It’s a caring environment that demonstrates Catholic values.

Philosophy

My education philosophy is that every student is a child of God and should be given the opportunity to learn and grow in a safe and respectful space.  In my classroom, I provide such an environment by creating a nurturing, yet vigorous, integrated academic curriculum that allows each child to continue to develop their reading and writing skills, as well as hands-on exploration and discovery in ELA, Science and Religion.

Although I am new to MDA this year, I am excited to be a MDA educator!  MDA provides an environment that values the Catholic faith, a curriculum that promotes student learning and growth, and a staff that treats you like family!
